Leadership Coaching

Helping leaders navigate the adventure of ministry with clarity, courage, and faithfulness.

Before I ever understood myself as a pastor, I experienced the power of a coach.

After 13 years of playing competitive football, including at the collegiate level, I learned that the best coaches do far more than develop skills or create winning strategies — they form people. They see potential, ask hard questions, challenge limitations, and help others become who they were created to be.

That conviction continues to shape my approach to leadership coaching today.

Having served in two historic 200-year-old congregations and helped launch two church plants in Charlotte, N.C., I bring a unique perspective on honoring tradition while leading innovation. As the founding pastor of Waypoint Community Church, an ECO Presbyterian church plant, I understand both the joy and complexity of building something new.

From planting a church and developing leaders to running ultramarathons with F3 and raising my daughter and triplet boys, I have learned that intentional challenges are often the places where God does His deepest formation — personally, relationally, spiritually, and as leaders.

As a certified coach, I create space for Gospel-centered conversations that help pastors and leaders pay attention to their whole life: relational, physical, emotional, missional, and spiritual.

Coaching is not about giving quick answers. It is about creating space for better questions — helping leaders discern God’s invitation and take the next faithful step.
