For Preachers

As I was reading Robert Quinn’s Book regarding adaptive leadership called To Change the World, and I couldn’t help but realize how essential this attitude is in the preached moment. What if we entered the preached moment not seeking to transfer information but to demonstrate the power of transformational Gospel within our own lives.

While it seems like the professor who spends 6 hours in preparation for lectures is far more prepared, it is actually Quinn who is preparing every breath of every day.

However, to be prepared at this level means that you are honed in a like a professional athlete ready to share the Gospel because you have lived it, breathed it, absorbed it and allowed it to transform your life.

As Paul says, in 2 Timothy 4:2
“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage–with great patience and careful instruction.”
