The above photo is great description of my last week: Two 24 Hour events…my 24 Hours of Booty Tattoo with a rope burn through the middle of it.
After driving the entire family home over 1500 miles in two days. I traded my lumbard support for a bike seat.
And road 147 miles for the 24 Hours of Booty. This was my fifth season, and a fun event riding with my team Spokes N Mirrors and the PAX of F3, and friends from the years in Charlotte.
Then the next week,
31 men of the F3 headed off the Pisgah National forest to hike overnight.
We started with a large push up Looking Glass Rock but after standing on top of the mountain for 2 hours at 11pm, we decided not to repel down. Having covered 15-20 miles with packs, while be shot at with paintball guns, bushwhacking up a steep draw, and traversing a river crossing, I am pleased to be home resting…
until 6 men run 208 miles at the start of September.
